Diploma Of Information Technology (Cyber Security)

SECURE A CAREER IN CYBER SECURITY

Cyber security engineers are in high demand all over the world as organisations continue their journeys towards digital transformation. As organisations move applications and data to the cloud, increasing cyber security risks and threats require organisations to be constantly vigilant and prepared to thwart attacks, and have contingency and disaster recovery plans in place to protect IP and data.

Our ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security) will provide foundational skills for aspiring cyber security engineers to promote workplace cyber security awareness and best practices, as well as designing systems to prepare for and respond to cyber security threats. Course content covers ICT essentials, network security, analysing and designing cyber security systems and leading and managing ICT infrastructure projects.

You will also develop the skills required to design, build and test network servers, apply IP, ethics and privacy policies in ICT environments, identify, confirm and respond to cyber security incidents, manage network security, utilise design methodologies for secure architecture, lead and facilitate a team, manage ICT infrastructure projects, and develop, implement and evaluate incident response and disaster recovery plans.
